SMOKE CREEK

Smoke Creek plays an unpredictable mix of award-winning original songs, ballads, country-western songs and old-time instrumentals.
Members include Mike Murray on old-time banjo, and guitar, Jim Murray and Peggy Sullivan on guitar, and Ted Briggs-Comstock on dobro. They all supply lead and harmony vocals.

For more than a decade, Smoke Creek has been a regular performer at festivals such as Folklife, Richland’s Tumbleweed Festival, Yakima Folklife, Monroe Arts in the Park, Poulsbo's Art by the Bay, and other events and concerts around the Northwest and has been featured on Northwest radio stations. Their first CD, titled Smoke Creek, a collection of original and traditional songs and instrumentals, received great reviews in publications such as “Sing Out”, “Victory Review”, “Disc Master”, and “Heritage Music Review”. They're working on another.
