As an integral part of RoseWind Cohousing, owners have access to many community amenities, such as the community hall, playground, community garden, and big central field. Participation is expected, and can take many forms, depending on one's interests and abilities. There are opportunities to eat dinner with the community twice a week. Discussion circles, a monthly business meeting and work party, and many social gatherings provide with ongoing contact with other community members. There are currently several families with young children, a couple of teens, and adults ranging in age from 20s to 80s. Many are involved with local political, social, or environmental projects or issues, and can help a family new to the area make contacts with the larger Port Townsend Community. There are also numerous artists and musicians.
